Victory is always possible for the person who refuses to stop fighting.
I find that in life, not everyone is going to be supportive of your dreams. Even the people you love. Your family and your friends aren’t always going to be as excited as you are about your dreams and what you want to do in your life. It’s not that they don’t love you, it’s just that they can’t always see what you see. If they could, I think it would be a different story. I, personally, want to do ministry. People come in with thoughts like: that won’t make you enough money, that’s not a real job, or that’s not thinking logically. Well, here’s what I have to say: living for Christ and helping set His people free is the best, most real AND logical job out there. With the money thing, well, I have an answer to that too: God provides. He Is Jehovah Jirah. Why would I worry about money when I’m a daughter of the King? THATS not logical to me. My faith overrides my doubt and everyone else’s doubt about my future as well.
“Fear not… for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. “-Luke 12.32
When reading this, it easy to just think He will give you the kingdom for yourself. But in fact, after He gives us something, we are expected to share it with others. Every blessing, all our knowledge, wisdom and revelation. Thats what ministry is. It’s sharing the gospel. The good news. To set the people chained down and burdened, free. To heal the sick, mend the broken hearts and help people stand tall and ignite in them a fire for God that cannot be put out. When we share our revelations with others, they grab a hold of it. They apply it to their life and that same revelation that set you free, sets them free. Christ shared everything He had. Are we not supposed to follow in His footsteps and be a light to the world? To open closed minds. To show the blinded people the truth. To love unconditionally. To show grace even to those who deserve none. Because lets face it: none of us deserve anything we’ve gotten. He doesn’t owe us anything. He has given us grace, mercy and forgiveness for one reason: He loves us with such a love that he would look past our flaws, issues and failures just so He could talk with us, love us, do life with us and be in constant communion with us, His creation. There’s never been something more beautiful.
